THE STIGMA OF ART COLLECTING
100 WORKS is an art collection-focused project for emerging and established artists that will launch at Electropositive. The goal is to educate and challenge the stigma around collecting art while giving a platform to diverse artists of various backgrounds.
Led by renowned artist/curator, Derrick Adams alongside curators Oshun Layne, Becky Elmquist, Stephanie Cunningham, Gabriel de Guzman, Larry Ossei-Mensah, and Teriha Yaegashi, 100 WORKS consists of a salon-style art collection and monthly event series that will examine art’s role in improving the world through social good.
